Jonathan Thomas

Jonathan Thomas is married with three children. He is a radio producer and broadcaster, author of Intentional Interruptions (Christian Focus) and presenter of Welsh Awakenings (Pugh Productions).

Elspeth Pitt

Elspeth Pitt grew up in West Wales and originally trained as a teacher, but has now been in church work for more than twenty years, working in a large city centre church in London and a medium sized suburban church in the Wirral. She loves to help women become more confident in handling the bible for themselves and growing in their personal walk with the Lord Jesus and has a heart for those on the edges of church life. After thirty years working in England, she is delighted to be back in Wales and working on the staff of Highfields Church in Cardiff.

Phil Swann

Phil Swann began ministry in West Yorkshire in 1990 after leaving his career in Cardiff as a Physiotherapist. He is now the Pastor at Llanelli Free Evangelical Church in West Wales. He also teaches Pastoral Theology, for the Evangelical Movement of Wales, on their Theological Training Course.

Phil Hill

Phil Hill is 67 years old, and a native of Bridgend. He studied ministry at Bristol Baptist College, theology at Bristol University and does doctoral research into the history of evangelicalism in Baptist life through Spurgeons College. He has done a great deal of work with students as well as holding pastorstesi in England, Wales and Israel and now serves as a pastor to pastors through union school of theology and the evangelical movement of Wales. Phil has been married to Angela since 1981 and they have four grown-up children.

Matt Lewis
Matt Lewis

Matt Lewis is based in Cardiff and covers schools in south Wales and is Scripture Union Cymru’s Mission Enabler. He supports, helps and advises schools, and Christian groups, to deliver the teaching of Jesus Christ and what it means to be a Christian today.

Sian Baker

Siân Baker is part of the staff at Lansdowne Church in Bournemouth and is involved in pastoral care, the women’s ministry team and planning of services. With a background in media, she spent many years in BBC Wales, Cardiff where she produced programmes in the area of religion and ethics.

Andrew Cooper
Andrew Cooper

Andrew Cooper works in communications and public relations in NHS Wales and was previously chair of the Cardiff Institute for Contemporary Christianity (CICC). He is a member of Highfields Church in Cardiff, where he took the church through the ‘Life on the Frontline’ course.

Mike Adams
Mike Adams

Mike Adams has a wealth of experience as a youth worker and evangelist – he was previously National Director or mission organisation World Horizons in Llanelli. Mike is a first language Welsh speaker.

Owen Brown
Owen Brown

Owen Brown is the UCCF Team Leader in Wales. As part of his role he works with a diverse staff and volunteer team to try to stimulate, resource, train and mature students in the Christian Unions across Wales.
