Ian Parry was born in Cardiff in 1969. He is married to Liz and they have four children. Since April 2018, Ian has been the Pastor of Grangetown Baptist Church in Cardiff.

In the past he has pastored Mount Elim Evangelical Church in Pontardawe (1995-2003) and The Bay Church in Cardiff (2003-2016). He was also, for a short while, Director of the European Mission Fellowship.
