Phil Jenkins

Biography

With over thirty years in Christian ministry, Phil grew up in north Wales and studied English in Cardiff, before studying theology in preparation for Christian ministry. Phil went on to serve in missions for over twelve years with Africa Inland Mission (AIM) International in Namibia, southern Africa, training pastors and leading a team of over forty mission personnel.

On his return to the UK in 2002, Phil became associate pastor at Highfields Church in Cardiff for thirteen years, where he established the Network ministry training course and was responsible for developing international missions. In 2015, Phil took up the pastorate of St Andrew’s International Church in Athens, Greece, where he was the senior pastor.

He returned to Cardiff in November 2020 and Phil joined the Wales Leadership Forum team in January 2021 to lead the Growing Churches Programme, a training course to train and support future church leaders in evangelism.
