Extraordinary in the Ordinary

Knowing the transforming power of Jesus in everyday life.

Thursday 2nd October 2025

Acts 3 begins with Peter and John going about their daily routine. But they were not too busy to see the one person everyone knew but few people ever slowed down to actually see. What follows is an account of the transforming power of Jesus in everyday life, the extraordinary in the ordinary!!

We’d love you to join us at EQUIP 2025 as we think more about the transforming power of Jesus in our daily lives. Elaine Macdonald will be our host, and we are looking forward to hearing from Bethan Perry our speaker.

What can you expect from the evening itself? We’ll hear from Bethan on the events of Acts 3 & 4. This will be followed by a discussion picking up on some of the themes raised in the talk, ‘Elaine, Bethan and Beth in conversation’. We are delighted that Beth Conway will join us for this.

The event will be in-person and livestreamed. It’s great to hear of women meeting together, in different parts of Wales, to hear teaching and testimony. There is also the opportunity to reflect on what you’ve heard, and apply it to your particular context.
