But [the Lord] said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
2 Corinthians 12:9-10
Few of us can truthfully say that we have never felt weak, never felt inadequate, never felt unworthy. Yet, as Christians, we recognise that it is at those times that God can use His people in exceptional ways.
At EQUIP 2021 we considered – and celebrated – the ways in which we can experience God’s strength and power in our weakest moments. We heard from leading Christian speakers who shared their own real-life experiences of seeing God’s power at work during their toughest, darkest moments.
