We are taking a cautious approach, in line with the Government’s risk assessment guidelines we have therefore adopted the risk assessment produced by our host Highfield’s church. Face masks are to be always worn throughout the building, and all the windows will be kept open to maximise ventilation. In the Chapel we are applying the 1 metre separation rule, between non-bubbled groups. I want to reassure you that there is plenty of seating and even for the ‘very cautious individuals’, a safe place to sit.
We will be using the Pierce Hall entrance to allow safe distancing, when queueing for registration. The attendee’s temperature will be taken with a non-contact thermometer in the registration area. A high reading will result in the attendees isolating themselves for 5- minutes for another reading to be taken.
During the breakout ‘network’ sessions face masks should be worn.
When moving from the registration and refreshment area, at the start of the day, in the Pierce Hall, it would help enormously if you could ‘bubble’ with your friends when relocating/moving up to the Chapel, as you will then be able to sit with your friends. We will carefully do all we can to make you feel safe!
If possible, please consider taking a lateral flow test before coming to ensure the safety of others. The government provide these tests free of charge. If you have a temperature or feel unwell, we will ask you not to come.
Disposable cups for tea and coffee will be provided, with individually wrapped coffee, milk, sugar, and biscuits to prevent any handling by others.
